14 Nov Don’t Find Yourself Without The Support You Need As A Caregiver
A Helping Hand has three Scheduling Coordinators working together to give caregivers and clients around the clock support. Since homecare is needed 24 hours during the day, A Helping Hand has put together a qualified and supportive team to answer phone calls any time during the day or night.
Get to know the team offering you support on a daily basis
Our AM Scheduling Coordinators have been able to get to know our clients’ needs, as well as continually supporting our caregivers with any questions or concerns that come up prior to, during and after their caregiving shifts.
Matching licensed caregivers with the needs of the client
Acting as the liaison, our AM Scheduling Coordinators are able to schedule qualified licensed caregivers to match client needs. Our caregivers are trained extensively to assist in personal care (including bathing, dressing, toiling, medication reminders, fall prevention), chores around the house, activity support condition-specific care (hospice care, surgery recovery, Alzheimers support), or nurse delegated caregivers administering medication, tube feeding and blood glucose monitoring.
Supporting caregivers and clients through difficult times
Our scheduling coordinators share the responsibility and honor to support the caregivers through more difficult moments as well, such as passing of a client. Per one of our team: “It would of been more difficult to do this job in my early twenties. The process of scheduling and communicating isn’t that hard to learn, but simply being able to take that call [when clients pass] to help a caregiver through it and make sure caregiver is okay and proceed to notify the family is not a light responsibility.”
The team at A Helping Hand Homecare is a diverse group of people with the heart to assist seniors and their families. If you’d like to work with a team that cares about you, equipping you to offer quality, full service care, message us today.
